Janitorial Worker - Varying Hours

Environment Control is hiring part-time, evening janitorial positions (Controller) to join our growing team! The responsibilities of the role include basic janitorial work. This position is in Spokane Valley and has  varying hours. This position is strictly part-time.  The position works 5 days per week, including weekends, for 2-5 hours a day. The end time varies depending on the usage of the building that day.  Why should you consider Environment Control? At Environment Control, we look to our teams for leadership and strive to promote from within, because with us, “It’s About Lives .” What we offer : Competitive wages - starting at $18.00 per hour Paid individualized training and all supplies provided Paid sick leave Room for advancement Dental and Accident benefits Employee discounts at Discount Tires and Verizon Wireless What we’re looking for : Strong attention to detail   Strong time management  Ability to multitask Strong communication skills Able to lift and carry 25 pounds daily What a Controller does : Learn and apply Environment Control standards and procedures, uphold Environment Control standards Floor cleaning such as : mopping, dusting, vacuuming Restroom cleaning such as : restocking soap and hand sanitizer dispensers, emptying trashes, wiping all touch points, toilet cleaning General office cleaning such as : emptying trashes, wiping / dusting all touch points and surfaces Communicate regularly with supervisor regarding repairs needed to assigned facility Maintain confidentiality All other tasks / duties assigned within scope of the Controller position What we require : If you are assigned to a medical facility, you must provide black scrub bottoms At least 18 years of age Have a valid drivers license and vehicle Working smart phone and willingness to utilize it for work purposes Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds daily, up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Environment Control is a locally owned building service company doing business in the Inland Northwest area for over 50 years.
