Job Description
The Visual Information Specialist will work under the Fort Davis National Historic Site Interpretation Division to create engaging visual content for the newly established Blackwell School National Historic Site. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing multimedia projects to support public outreach and engagement
- Capturing high-quality video and photos for park events and programs
- Creating and updating social media content to promote the site's story
- Fostering community connections through outreach activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in history, education, or a related field with research experience
- Proficiency in social media and digital media platforms
- Experience in photography, digital design, and writing
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in group settings and plan activities
