What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead/Heavy Metal Abatement Technician position at Environmental Abatement Inc.?
Responsibilities of this job include working with and removing/cleaning lead and heavy metals from various buildings for renovation. All work is hands on and multiple certification classes, pre-employment physical, federal background check, and pre-employment drug screen are required prior to starting. EAI is looking for responsible, determined, and hard working employees who take pride in their work and want to build a career with a great company. Past experience in the trade or construction is preferred but we are willing to train anyone who wants to learn. Reliable transportation is a must to get to and from job sites and shop daily. Pay rate is DOE. Position requires the use of respiratory protection about 85% of the time. Persons with a current medical marijuana card or in process of obtaining a medical marijuana card are not eligible for this position.
