Job Description:
Established Montana company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Estimator/Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating, planning, and managing projects related to asbestos abatement, selective demolition, and scaffolding. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for asbestos abatement, selective demolition, and scaffolding projects.
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and job site conditions to determine scope, labor, materials, and equipment needs.
- Develop competitive bid proposals and submit timely responses.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and safety protocols are met.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth project progression.
- Monitor and control project costs, addressing any discrepancies or necessary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to asbestos abatement and demolition.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in estimating and project management within the asbestos abatement, selective demolition, or scaffolding industries.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and local environmental laws.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to travel within the state of Montana and surrounding areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training will be provided to obtain certification in asbestos abatement, scaffold erection
