Requirements :
We are seeking a certified Construction Engineer Level 2 to serve as the primary liaison between contractors and the engineer in observing and monitoring on-site work. This is a PRN (as-needed) position.
As a Construction Engineer 2 at Environmental Design Group you will :
- Coordinate inspection of project work
- Ensure work performed by contractors is in compliance with all state and federal specifications
- Correlate and analyze field data, review plans and records, support and prepare change orders
- Assist with dispute resolution, estimates, conduct progress meetings, prepare meeting minutes and other related duties
- Finalize or assist with finalizing and closing out the project
- Perform data entry into ODOT’s CMS / SITE MANAGER system or local documentation equivalent as directed by the project engineer or LPA person in responsible
