Each business sector is under the direction of a Managing Principal Consultant (MPC) who is responsible for the delivery of technical services and maintaining strong relations with current clients.
Job Summary :
The Vice President of Sales & Marketing (VP Sales & Marketing) is responsible for setting the strategic direction for sales and marketing while driving sustained double-digit growth for Environmental Health & Engineering (EH&E). Reporting to the President / Chief Operating Officer, this individual will lead initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent, hold the team accountable to results, and implement proven systems to drive revenue growth, especially through net new business.
This leader will oversee both sales and marketing teams, creating alignment across functions to optimize results. With strong focus on coaching, accountability, and innovation, they will continue to expand EH&E’s position as a leader in environmental building science.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Leadership
- Develop and implement a proven and repeatable sales process to ensure team quota attainment above 80%.
- Determine leading activity indicators and set individual KPIs for each team member.
- Coach and hold individual Market Executives (MEs) accountable for achieving net new revenue targets and building the sales pipeline needed to hit the revenue targets.
- Develop and implement a proven hiring process to attract and retain top talent, ensuring high-performing teams.
- Set and execute strategic sales plans, establishing yearly goals in collaboration with Managing Principal Consultants and other senior leadership.
- Drive revenue growth with a focus on securing new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and alliances.
- Leverage CRM systems to monitor sales performance, track progress, and generate insights for improved decision-making.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast activities, manage budgets, and deliver accurate financial reporting.
- Coach members of the Sector Leadership teams to improve their ability to expand existing project work.
- In conjunction with the MPCs develop yearly goals to track project expansion success.
