We are seeking a dynamic and growth-driven VP of Sales and Marketing to lead our efforts in scaling our business. This role requires a seasoned leader with deep, ideally 10 years, of expertise in the outsourcing software development industry, and a clear understanding and years of experience in  building and managing sales and marketing functions and systems.


You will leverage your experience to identify new market opportunities while optimizing the needs of existing clients. You will be responsible for defining and executing growth strategies and leading organizational transformation in sales and marketing to enable sustainable, scalable revenue growth. In this role, you are both a strategic leader and a hands-on player-coach, ready to lead from the front.


Reports to: CEO (Go-to-Market Focus)


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy, encompassing short, medium, and long-term goals, to drive business growth.
  • Define and set top-level objectives, metrics, and KPIs based on internal business goals and external market opportunities. 
  • Position and differentiate the company’s value proposition, ensuring clear and compelling communication of offerings to target markets.
  • Attract, hire, develop, and retain top-tier talent in sales, marketing, and customer success roles to create a high-performing, growth-oriented team.
  • Build and manage a robust, data-driven revenue pipeline and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Drive brand engagement and buyer touchpoints across customer segments, establishing and enhancing brand presence in all markets.
  • Oversee marketing strategy execution, ensuring strong buyer engagement, funnel velocity, and achievement of performance targets.
  • Foster strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, staying connected to the market, analyzing trends, and delivering insights that drive competitive advantage.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges across sales, marketing, and account management, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to align marketing and sales efforts with product development and customer success.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles within sales, marketing, or go-to-market teams, with a proven record of driving significant revenue growth.
  • Proven track record in crafting, iterating, and executing growth strategies that align with market trends and business objectives.
  • Strong Sales background preferred.
  • Strong general management experience with comprehensive P&L responsibility.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to inspire and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Proactive, high-level executive function, with the ability to anticipate challenges and seize opportunities before they arise.
  • Excellent peer management and collaboration skills; must be comfortable working closely with C-suite executives and senior leadership teams, advocating for decisions backed by data and insights.
  • Experience in decision-making based on performance metrics, with a strong focus on data-driven insights.
  • Hands-on leadership style with an ability to inspire and mentor teams, while also being able to dig into the details when necessary.


What Success Looks Like:


  • Within the first year, you will have:
  • Defined core offerings for key verticals, with up-to-date marketing materials and clear value propositions articulated across the organization.
  • Developed and refined the company’s brand, messaging, and market positioning, ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Established a fully operational and effective sales organization, with optimized demand generation, presales, deal closing, and account management processes.
  • Implemented and refined data analytics systems for KPI and other required data tracking to ensure informed and data-driven decisions.
  • Implemented and refined sales support systems (e.g., CRM, marketing automation) and ensured their adoption and seamless operation within the company.


  • Within three years, you will have:
  • Delivered business growth that is within minimum percent of forecasted projections for both new business and existing accounts.
  • Successfully led a thriving and expanding sales and marketing team, recognized for both performance and engagement.
  • Identified and filled new roles, continually building and strengthening the team to support future growth initiatives.
