Estimator/Project Manager - Inland Empire

Environmental Remedies is a growing asbestos abatement firm servicing the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego County, and now the Inland Empire Area. The firm is looking to fill a full-time Estimator/Project Manager position.

Estimating/Project Management:

• Maintains positive relationships with existing accounts
• Visits the project site to visually confirm the job conditions and photo document work areas.
• Determines and writes scope of work in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Estimates costs and prepares sales contracts for services.
• Ensures all necessary documentation such as work authorizations, subcontracts, or waivers are signed and received prior to the start of work
• Determines work plan, equipment and material requirements, and other necessary information for successful completion of each project and relays project data to project coordinators
• Establishes schedule requirements, vendor/subcontractor requirements, submittal requirements and works with Project Coordinators to meet them
• Monitors progress of each project, communicates with labor department, project coordinators, and customers from cradle to grave
• Resolves service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting resolution; following up to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Xactimate required.
• At least 2 years experience within the Abatement, Restoration or Mitigation industry.
