SUMMARY
COMPLIANCE
The Waste Coordinator is ultimately responsible for all Environmental Compliance aspects of their respective locations. Site conditions and overall environmental compliance. All waste RCRA Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials stored, staged, consolidated, shipped and received from the locations and the documentation related to them. This includes but is not limited to:
Waste document handling and retention; receiving, correction, filling, and preparation
Waste management; receiving, shipping, storage, consolidation, inspection, tracking and logging
Site inspections: verifying materials on site are shippable, not leaking, properly closed, and not bulging.
Overall site compliant with State, Local and Federal requirements
CDL License a plus
SALES SUPPORT
Offer pricing information for sales opportunities, assist with job scoping for quotations and aid when applicable. Complete job walks, chemical inventories, profile and generation of required paperwork when required to do so. Assist with customer compliance concerns when necessary.
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Assist with developing job scopes for waste related projects, review SDS’s for waste handling/management requirements. Help the folks in the field with waste determination and relay waste related information to the team. Assist with facility supply management and replenishment of waste containers on site. Also, assist in obtaining required permits when necessary for projects and or services.
FINANCE SUPPORT
Scan and update waste documentation into the appropriate folders for job tracking purposes. Review and approve waste related invoices in a timely manner. Provide the finance team with information as requested for jobs involving waste. Provide cost breakdowns for consolidated invoices related to waste disposal.
Standard scheduled work week consists of five (5), eight (8) hour days, starting at 8 am and ending at 5 pm Monday through Friday reporting to the San Antonio office with a one (1) hour lunch break 12 pm - 1 pm. If for any reason there is a need for variance, approval from your manager, and communication to the site management must be made prior.
