What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at EnviroServices & Training Center, LLC?
The administrative assistant handles general office tasks and duties, such as directing communications between colleagues and customers, organizing schedules and events, entering data, bookkeeping, maintaining office equipment, etc. The candidate must possess the necessary knowledge, education, experience, physical abilities, and communication skills to perform the duties described below:
- Responsible for general, administrative, secretarial, reception, and clerical duties.
- Coordinate administrative activities which require frequent contact with executives, staff, clients, the public, government officials, and other agencies, using effective public relations and liaison skills.
- Must function with considerable independence and exercise discretion in applying policies and procedures, requiring knowledge of company programs and objectives.
- Coordinate office functions/events, training classes, meetings, committees, and special projects.
- Fulfill supply orders.
- Data entry into a database system.
- Make travel arrangements.
- Track and reconcile invoices and receipts.
- Support staff in the execution of their projects.
- Track inventory and coordinate maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
- Maintain daily functionality of the office (track and order supplies, collect and remove the trash, maintain office equipment and cleanliness of office).
- Sit and/or stand for 8 hours per day.
- Lift heavy objects (40 pounds).
- Perform all other duties as needed.
