We are seeking a seasoned Sales and Business Development Director to lead our sales efforts in the Mid-Atlantic region and drive business growth through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies, drive results, and build strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sales Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to increase the client base, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Client Engagement and Networking: Organize and conduct client meetings to present the firm's capabilities and secure new business opportunities.
- Performance Tracking: Prepare regular status reports on the performance of sales strategies and provide actionable insights.
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role or within the environmental consulting industry, with a strong understanding of CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot and/or Deltek Vantagepoint.
