The HR Generalist is responsible for a wide range of HR functions including employee relations, regulatory compliance, benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and updating and maintaining the HRIS system.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale
- Assisting with benefit administration to include claims resolution, invoice approval, information activities program, etc
- Coordinating benefits enrollment and executing employee education about company benefits and open enrollment
- Assisting with full-cycle recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding processes
- Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommending best practices; reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Attending and participating in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Preparing reports and presentations on HR metrics
- Maintaining and updating employee records and HRIS systems
- Participating in HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and culture
- Typical office group environment
- Group environment working as part of a functional team
- Travel to company locations, if required, to meet with internal stakeholders
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum 5 (five) years HR related experience
- Broad generalist background including coaching and counseling, performance management, employee involvement, teambuilding, as well as compensation and benefits
- Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations
- Exceptional project and human resource management skills
- Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
- Exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our senior management team
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
