We are seeking an experienced Mold Remediation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on experience in mold remediation, water damage restoration, or a related field. You will be responsible for assessing mold-affected areas, performing remediation procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Implement mold containment and remediation procedures, including removal and cleaning
- Operate air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and other remediation equipment
- Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials
- Follow industry standards, safety protocols, and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers
- Maintain accurate documentation of remediation activities
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mold remediation or water damage restoration
- Knowledge of industry standards (IICRC, OSHA, and EPA guidelines preferred)
- Experience with containment setup, HEPA filtration, and chemical application
- Ability to work in confined spaces or high-moisture environments
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- IICRC certification in Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT) is a plus
Working Environment/Physical Demands:
- Work may be performed under extreme weather conditions including hot and cold ambient temperatures.
- Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds.
- Qualified Candidate must be able to pass a physical examination by medical professional for the anticipated work requirements.
- Must be able to pass a background check and be able to obtain access to military bases across the United States.
- A valid driver’s license is required, as well as a safe driving record as measured by company policy.
