Responsibilities
- Understand the Provider Onboarding Platform in detail and effectively maps product functionality with business needs.
- Understand the business requirements in detail and effectively translate business requirements to application workflows and functionality.
- Understand the impact of changes to the system data architecture and is able to articulate the results in business terms.
- Research latest technology, industry process standards and accepted best practices in preparation for requirements gathering with business stakeholders.
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to elicit requirements that best meet business needs and properly document business, user, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Publish meeting notes to summarize and communicate the project.
- Work with business and technical teams to discuss functional design and detail design concepts.
- Work with the project team to ensure requirements are accurate, clear and understood.
- Also validates completed functionality to ensure all requirements are met.
- Participant in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Produces professional quality work products such as process flows, use cases, screen mock-ups, business requirements and functional specifications.
- Strong understanding of the capabilities of the Microsoft Dynamics 8 platform as well as interfaces to various RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) platforms including GE Athena.
- Works with QA to define acceptance test objectives; assist in system and integration testing.
- Work with end-User during User Acceptance Testing including initial training on the delivered functionality.
- Assist in evaluating software change requests, determine business needs or conduct root cause analysis. Participate and promote a knowledge-sharing environment.
- Provide timely, comprehensive verbal and written status reports.
- Provide application demonstrations and training as required.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the required qualifications below.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field and 5 years of experience in Healthcare Enrollment, Revenue Cycle and Provider Credentialing.
- 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics Version 8.x including Advanced Find
- 5 years of experience with Enrollment Document Assembly
- 5 years of experience with PII Handling
- 3 years of experience with Revenue Cycle Systems including Billing, Held Accounts Receivable, and Provider Taxonomy
- Experience with Provider Enrollment including Payor Requirements
- Experience with Provider Credentialing including Risk Management
- Experience with NCQA
- Experience with Sanctions
- Experience with Board Certifications
- Experience with Provider Education CEU Process/Requirements; and experience with Malpractice.
