Program Manager
Envision Technology, an innovative small business providing advanced electro-optical solutions for defense applications, seeks a Program Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing highly complex EO / IR programs and providing execution leadership throughout the new product development lifecycle, from capture management and concept development to full-rate production. The Program Manager is a liaison between the customer and the new product development team, and ensures all stakeholders’ objectives are achieved, including technical, programmatic and financial performance.
Responsibilities :
- Capture new programs and lead proposal efforts.
- Point of contact for the customer and within the organization of assigned programs.
- Provide technical and execution leadership of highly technical programs while working with the various engineering disciplines assigned to the program.
- Develop and track Integrated Master Schedules, including critical path.
- Identify and mitigate risk to achieve program objectives.
- Develop and track budgets.
- Ensure new product developments are aligned with customer technical, programmatic, regulatory, and other requirements.
- Material procurement authorization and tracking.
- Work decisively and independently to achieve program goals, while working closely with peers who are assigned to the program.
- Ensure quality control throughout the new product development lifecycle to maintain expected performance standards.
- Communicate program status to the engineering team, leadership team, and customer.
- Contribute to the company’s product roadmap development for EO / IR and related products.
