Job Overview
The Inventory Coordinator is accountable for recording and tracking inventories of materials, supplies, and finished product.
Main point of contact for finished goods purchasing and order tracking.
Coordinates relationships with plants to facilitate elimination out of stocks and overstocks.
Communicate to Demand Planning, any service issues related to stock availability, and coordinate resolution, involving central planning. Conduct a physical inventory of Full Goods using an RF handheld scanning equipment and a physical inventory of Raw Materials and Concentrates, keying in inventories into spreadsheets and SAP.
Perform an Age Inventory of product in warehouse to ensure proper production rotation.
Ensure proper administration of all cycle count procedures and processes; research outstanding issues related to inventory reconciliation; reconcile any inventory discrepancies and handle any follow up questions from customers. Issue out any production /warehouse inventory breakage and any employee product usage and post full goods inventory without discrepancies. Handle period ending inventory accounting duties to resolve issues related to Warehouse.
Prepare, maintain and distribute reports related to inventory. Run production labels.
Ensure SOX compliance following the SOX checklists related to inventory May also need to support warehouse operations, including shift based oversight for forklift operators
Responsibilities

- Utilize SQL and other tools to create data visualizations that support decision-making.
- Collaborate with e-commerce teams to align inventory with sales forecasts and customer demand.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in materials management and supplier management.
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and report on trends to inform strategic planning.
- Coordinate with distribution center staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management within a distribution center environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of e-commerce operations and their impact on inventory management.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.50 - $24.45 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
