We offer a wide range of services, including full-service wedding planning, partial planning, and day-of coordination, as well as planning and event management for birthdays, vow renewals, baby showers, graduation parties, and corporate events.

Position Description
Envision the Moment Event Services, LLC is looking to add talented, detail oriented, friendly, enthusiastic individuals to our Panhandle of Florida Wedding Planning Team. This position would allow for individuals to work alongside our Panhandle Lead Planner to bring our clients wedding vision to life while gaining Wedding Industry experience. The position of Events Assistant is a contracted, as needed position. The position is an entry level role with hours that range anywhere from 8-14 hours and compensation starting at $13.00/hour. With this position, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on wedding industry experience with the opportunity for promotion to a Lead Planner or Coordinator in the future.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in the service industry and/or customer service industry is preferred.
- Prior event or wedding planning experience is a plus, but not required.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Contracted, as-needed position.
- Compensation ranges from $13 to $15 per hour
- Hours per event vary from 8 to 14 hours based on the scale of the event and package selected.
- Must be available for weddings scheduled on nights, weekends, and holidays.
As an Events Assistant, you will also have the support of a Lead Planner on the wedding day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Candidate Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to work on your feet for majority of the day
- A passion for weddings and events
- Computer Skills; Efficient in Canva, Google Drive/Forms, Microsoft Office – including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Valid Driver’s license with clean driving history, reliability transportation and ability to travel to event locations
- Availability on weekends, as well as some weekdays
- Social Media Skills – TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure within a limited timeframe
- Self-Starter
- Professional appearance; proper grooming, well dressed, hair, makeup etc
Qualifications:
- Creative, Customer Service Oriented, Trustworthy, Positive Attitude, Flexible, Fast Paced
- Must be able to take direction well
- Problem Solving (i.e., the bride forgets her bouquet in the limo, the bride is about to walk down the aisle and her hairdo falls apart, etc.)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team!
- Ability to stay up to date with industry trends to provide our clients with ideas
- Ability to maintain eye contact, poised posture, etc.
Duties that the Wedding Day Assistant is responsible for during the Wedding:
- Assisting with and overseeing the correct set-up of the ceremony and reception site(s)
- Assisting VIP’s throughout the course of the event
- Being available to wedding guests to answer their questions and assist them as needed (i.e. gentleman spills sauce on his jacket, lady spills red wine on her skirt/shoes, someone is feeling ill and needs attention, etc.)
- Directing guests to appropriate areas as needed throughout the evening (i.e. restroom, exits, parking, bar, etc.)
- Assisting vendors with their set-up by being close at hand to answer questions withregards to product placement
- Being a resource to the Bride & Groom with regards to what’s happening next in theschedule
- Overseeing and assisting with set up and tear down of wedding decor items (linens, charger plates, escort cards, place cards, favors, chair covers, etc.)
- Maintaining the schedule and coordinating the timeline for all special events throughout the reception
- Trouble-shooting
- Any other tasks designated by Lead Planner
Physical Demands
The Events Assistant must be able to be on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. On occasion, the Events Assistant may be required to stoop, bend or reach above shoulders.

Additional Information: All new hires are subject to a 90-day probationary period, followed by a performance review. Regular performance reviews will occur annually after the completion of the probationary period.
