Key Responsibilities
This role involves meticulous adherence to approved procedures, identification and documentation of specification equipment, and submission for follow-on inspection/corrective maintenance as applicable. The position also entails driving continuous improvement of the lubrication and associated preventive program, with support provided by the company.
Primary Duties
- Inspect and prepare roller heads for disassembly to rebuild according to proper procedures.
- Complete the proper installation of bearings for roller head assembly with correct parts.
- Utilize proper tools for assembly, installation, and rebuild of roller heads including torque tools.
- Perform grease purging of roller head assemblies and grease blocks.
- Perform preventative, predictive, and proactive maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and servicing of mobile equipment to improve equipment reliability consistent with Enviva's Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS).
- Provide regular maintenance of hydraulics, lubrication, of mechanical equipment; demonstrate understanding of types of lubricants and application.
- Read and follow technical diagrams and schematics.
- Adhere to all plant environmental, health, and safety guidelines, policies, and practice.
- Provide technical support for efficient troubleshooting and or problem-solving activities to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime.
- Work with the operations group to increase reliability while improving plant performance.
Requirements
- Experience with computerized maintenance management or manual systems required.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with vibration analysis and precision alignment a plus.
- Experience with repairing/troubleshooting gearboxes or mechanical drive systems.
