Role description:
Envocore is seeking a Marketing & Proposal Manager to collaborate with division leadership and pursuit teams on various Business Development initiatives across the Utility Services division and multiple utility efficiency sectors. The ideal candidate will lead and manage bid and proposal efforts, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and competitive submissions. They will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop winning proposals, oversee bid schedules, and maintain compliance with all requirements.
This position requires a confident professional who can work well with all levels of people and who enjoys being part of a dynamic team. Candidates should possess excellent written (including editing) and verbal communications skills, as well as demonstrated project management capabilities, with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and to manage numerous competing priorities. The position and requires flexibility in work schedule to support demands across time zones. This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States.
Role accountabilities:
- Thoroughly assess requests for proposals, requests for qualifications/information, and requests for bids to ascertain Envocore’s ability to prepare a compliant and compelling response.
- Manage all phases of the proposal response process across multiple efforts simultaneously.
- Development and maintenance of proposal templates, marketing material, team member bios, and reference libraries.
- Creating presentations for client orals/interview meetings as well as leading interview team preparation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather content, refine messaging, and align proposals with Envocore’s solutions and brand.
- Liaises with sales, estimating, and operations teams, as well as other departments, to gather documentation required for proposal/prequalification submittals (bid forms, contracts, schedules, safety, quality, etc.).
- Edit and refine technical and marketing content for clarity, accuracy, and impact.
- Writing content and customizing template material for specific proposal requirements in a dynamic and responsive manner.
- Monitor procurement websites for new opportunities that align with Envocore’s scope of work and pursuit strategies.
- Lead the effort to review, update, edit, format, and submit proposals in a timely manner, including review and analysis of client RFP and tracking response requirements and responsibilities for the project team.
- The Marketing & Proposal Manager will provide support in the creation of other various pitch materials, cut sheets, and brochures, as necessary.
- Create / Edit company logos, signatures, and graphics in compliance with branding guidelines.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Third-Party Marketing Vendor to align Envocore’s strategic goals with marketing efforts across social media posts, blog topics, and company website.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field, or relevant equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing and proposal development in a consulting, engineering, or construction industry environment
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Teams, SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat / Nitro PDF, Photo Editing, and Graphics Editing.
- Knowledge of construction, utility, and/or building efficiency industry is a plus.
