What are the responsibilities and job description for the Owners Technical Representative position at Envoy, Inc.?
As an Owner's Technical Representative, you'll be the key liaison between clients, design teams, and contractors, ensuring projects run smoothly from inception to completion. You'll oversee all aspects of construction management, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control while providing expert guidance and problem-solving to keep projects on track.
This is a full-time on-site position located in Fishers, IN with Envoy.
What you'll do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners/clients, managing communication and project expectations.
- Oversee project planning, design, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, contract documents, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Track project progress, manage documentation, and provide timely status reports.
- Review construction documents, change orders, and payment applications.
- Analyze and implement risk mitigation strategies to address project challenges.
- Mentor and provide leadership to other team members.
- Facilitate resolution of project conflicts and disputes.
- Manage multiple projects while ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Experience needed
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, preferably in the AEC industry.
- Experience with Procore and Owner’s Representation/Project Management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and risk mitigation.
- Proficiency in reading and analyzing plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a criminal background check, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
