Position Overview:
Staff Accountant (On-Site)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Staff Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time, in-person position with a competitive annual salary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation.
- Analyze budgets, monitor expenses, and generate reports for management.
- Assist with payroll-related financial transactions and reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site work environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience.
