Position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the mechanical equipment of a new 300 MMSCFD cryogenic natural gas processing plant in the Delaware Basin. The Plant Mechanic is responsible for the installation, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of plant equipment which includes but is not limited to the following :
- Natural gas and liquids separation & filtration
- Condensate stabilization
- Amine treating and gas dehydration
- Turbine, reciprocating, and screw compression
- Turbine power generation
- Propane refrigeration
- Natural gas cryogenic processing
- CO2 compression, treating, and dehydration
- Reverse Osmosis water treating & pumps
- Heat exchangers & air coolers
- Transmitters, valves, actuators, and other instrumentation
- Gas and liquids measurement equipment
- PLCs and plant control, safety, and communications systems
- PDC, MCC, transformers, breakers, wiring, motors, VFDs, generators, and additional electrical equipment
- Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
In addition, the Plant Mechanic will be a key contributor to EOG's proactive safety culture. This is a unique grass-roots opportunity in which the Plant Mechanic will play a role in the construction of the facility, along with the development of plant maintenance and operating procedures. The Plant Mechanic will interface regularly with instrumentation & electrical technician, plant operator, engineering, control room, supply chain, management, environmental, and safety teams. The ideal candidate will possess a broad knowledge of equipment maintenance and operations and have a proven track record as a leader. Position will be based at the Janus Plant site near Mentone, Texas. Position will have a rotational schedule of day shifts with night call-out responsibilities during the shift. Housing will be provided during the shift.
