Minimum Requirements And Qualification
- Junior or senior year in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study
- 1 years of applicable experience
Experience Preferred :
Previous experience in an R&D organizationPrevious experience working with government contractorsExperience with the Altium Designer tool setExperience with rotating assemblies and slip ringsKnowledge / Skills Needed :
Understanding of technical theories / concepts in field of electrical engineering design and manufacturingEffective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work in team environment interacting with a variety of functional areas and management levelsMajor Responsibility Areas And Duties
Responsible for electrical / electronic designs from conception to manufacturing including library part creation, schematic capture, component placement, and routingResearch new components, technologies, and methods to incorporate into new designsCreates and reviews all documentation required to support electrical configuration and implementations using the Altium Designer tool setPerforms electrical design analyses in support of product development activitiesInterfaces with software, systems, and mechanical engineering disciplines to ensure that the overall design requirements are captured and accomplishedWorks with systems engineers to ensure that all requirements are identified, captured, and analyzed, such that design can be developed that satisfy the requirementsConducts test and evaluation activities on electrical designs to verify and sign-off of all design requirementsWorks with Project Engineers to ensure design solutions are delivered on time and on budget and meet other project management requirementsOther duties as directedMust be abl e to maintain a school / work schedule of a minimum of 15 hours and a maximum of 29 hours per weekEOS Defense Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identification and sexual orientation) or national origin in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
