EōS Fitness is in search of an HR Coordinator to join us in Tampa, FL. We're looking for someone with genuine customer service skills, a curiosity for interpretation of the law, a knack for communicating policies, programs and systems with enthusiasm while embracing our culture. This position would be a company-wide resource for our HR department, focusing on the Florida market. Reporting to our Sr. HR Manager (who's based in Texas) and partnering with our management team, this HR Coordinator will be responsible for HR administration, employee relations and supporting our team in the daily needs of the business.
Ideal Candidate will have prior experience handling:
- Projects and driving them to completion while multi-tasking; proven to efficiently and effectively complete daily tasks and long term projects.
- Complex investigations including theft, harassment and wage concerns.
- Benefits, benefits administration, going through Open Enrollment, ACA, and marketing benefits (with support of Brokers).
- Handling Workers Compensation Claims, including submitting claims, investigations and managing claims to closure.
- OSHA 300 filings and maintaining logs.
- Multi-location, knowledge of Nevada law preferred.
- High-volume of hires and turnover.
- Rapid company growth. Revisions to Handbook and Policies according to new laws, with support of counsel, including rolling out policies.
Some things you'd do:
- Communicate, coach and embrace Company policies and procedures.
- Process people operation related administrative tasks (new hires, employment change forms, coaching forms, LOAs, benefits, data entry, reporting etc.) and proactively follow up on outstanding matters to completion.
- Manage various aspects of recruiting efforts.
- Manage various aspects of trainings.
- Manage various aspects of system implementations.
- Stay up-to-date on the ever changing laws in the states we operate in (currently AZ, CA, UT, NV and FL).
- Support our leadership team through team movement, employee relations and investigations. Learn, A LOT!
What we expect:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in People Operations/Human Resources, at a Coordinator level, or relevant field.
- Prior experience with Nevada labor law.
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, for interacting with employees, management and vendors, i.e. calm, professional, and empathetic to all levels of management, employees, customers and vendors.
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions.
- Previous experience delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; and good time management, organizational, and recordkeeping skills. And, of course, someone who embraces our Core Values!
