What are the responsibilities and job description for the Smart Workspace Field Technician, Lead position at EOS USA?

WHAT YOU'LL DO :
- Lead the staging, installation and de-installation of smart workspace solutions to include AV / IoT / low voltage solutions.
- Lead a team of technicians on installation projects
- Provide quality control, support, and remediation of IoT, low voltage cabling, commercial fixtures and AV equipment
- Provide project oversite for 3rd party installers
- Configuration of endpoints and infrastructure
- Preparation of room audits ensuring technology can work at optimum level
- Performs preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and room is ready for use
- Responsible for identifying defective / failed equipment and providing solutions
- Completion of Post Installation Assessments
- Perform on site User Acceptance testing
- Install software upgrades
- Act as a point of escalation for technical issues and provide solutions for ongoing faults
- Working as part of the EOS team providing smart workspace solutions and services on site interfacing with the designated client in line with the customer requirements and service level agreement
- Communicates with management team throughout the day, as it relates to assignments
- Project reporting and updating
- Document and report hardware failures also Manages Break / Fix and RMA requests as needed
- Supervise, instruct and help with rack building processes
- Travel to customer sites Nationally & Internationally as required
