Connections Planner
The Connections Planner is an important component of any campaign or initiative, helping to define channels that best serve the target audience, the brand, and the idea.
We’re looking for someone with a combination of skills - you must be able to think and act strategically, assessing the big picture while also staying on the pulse of competitive and social media activities and industry trends.
At EP Co, we are a team of doers. In this role, you will be an integral part of campaigns, participating in strategy development, using research and your expertise to determine social and influencer strategies and tactical functions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the social media and influencer planning process, working with creative, account, and brand planning teammates to develop an integrated marketing plan (including channel roles, best practices, consumer journeys, competitive audits, and execution guidelines) that supports the creative idea and delivers on client expectations
- Create content calendars to seamlessly connect social and brand activities and optimize engagement and reach.
- Develop social media creative briefs that inspire internal and client teams with how social channels can be used creatively to bring ideas to life
- Curate social media and influencer goals that maximize reach and exposure across platforms to elevate brand share of voice
- Develop strong insights based on deep understanding of social tactics, channel opportunities, and consumer behaviors
- Stay up-to-date as an expert on best practices, platform updates, and trends for both social media and influencer marketing
- Cultivate a strong connection to social culture, staying attuned to societal shifts, conversations, and emerging subcultures to inform and enhance the relevance of social media strategies.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience, ideally with a previous role of junior to mid-level influencer manager or strategist. Agency experience is a plus.
- Experience in developing successful social media strategies and creative briefs that answer client priorities and inspire creative execution
- Passion for developing meaningful influencer relationships that result in authentic content narratives designed to drive brand results
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for leveraging research and data for detailed social media and influencer creative insights.
- A self-starter with a passion for culture, trends, and motivations in consumer behavior which inform and impact social strategies. You scroll social media in your spare time, avidly consume content by creators and brands, and are the love diving into the latest viral trend.
- Digitally and socially sophisticated. Able to operate with ease across channels
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to lead a room or remote audience through a presentation that influences others not just to accept, but rally behind a great idea or point of view
- Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
