Chief Inspector - Facility/Terminal
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chief Inspector for a Pump Upgrade project in Crane, TX. The project involves vertical can pump installation and manifold modification at an existing pump facility.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage inspection activities for facility and terminal construction
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
- Direct and coordinate inspection team activities
- Review and verify construction documentation and quality control measures
- Monitor project progress and maintain detailed inspection records
- Coordinate with project management team and contractors
- Prepare and submit daily inspection reports
- Verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Manage safety permits and ensure proper execution of critical activities
- Supervise hot work, confined space entry, and excavation activities
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum 8 years field experience in oil/gas industry construction and regulations
- Minimum 5 years experience directing and managing others
- OSHA 10 Hour Safety Card
- Comprehensive knowledge of pipeline construction methods and procedures
- Experience with stringing, welding, coating, and drilling operations
Required Training/Certifications
- Lock Out/Tag Out certification
- Confined Space certification
- Hot Work certification
- Excavation safety certification
- OSHA 10 Hour Safety Card (minimum requirement)
