Junior Project Coordinator
Location: Charleston, WV or Houston, TX
Travel: 15% (valid passport required)
Duration: 2-Year Contract, 40 hrs./week
Pay Rate: $25/hr.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Project Coordinator to support our client’s Project Execution team. This entry-level role coordinates field operations for In-line Inspection (ILI), maintenance pigging, and chemical cleaning programs. The position involves working closely with senior team members and gaining experience in project coordination within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to company safety policies.
- Field Coordination: Support ILI program implementation and field activities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with internal departments like Operations, Engineering, and Commercial.
- Contractor Supervision: Oversee third-party contractors in the field.
- Scheduling: Assist with scheduling tasks and coordinating regional teams.
- Technical Analysis: Support technical analysis and prepare action recommendations.
- Inspection Support: Conduct preliminary facility inspections and support project scoping.
- Cost/Manpower Tracking: Track daily costs and schedule workforce.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare daily reports and operational documentation.
- Procedure Development: Help develop operational procedures and contingency plans.
- Training & Mentorship: Assist with training and mentoring regional coordinators.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or a combination of experience and education.
- Experience: 0-4 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with pipeline design, gas handling, or survey work is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong safety awareness and communication skills.
- Problem-solving, multitasking, and coordination abilities.
- Leadership skills to work with stakeholders.
- Other:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel (15% of the time) and work extended hours in varied conditions.
