Job Overview :
We are looking for a Strategic Account Executive to join our Sales team. The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for implementation of an effective marketing / sales plan that will enable the Company to meet defined strategic objectives to ensure growth and maintain profitability.
Qualifications :
- BS or BA Degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years proven sales or operations experience.
- Excellent work history within a sales / marketing or operations environment.
- Ability to integrate and analyze data.
- Travel required.
- Ability to plan and organize workload; flexibility to handle pressure and work with interruptions; and meet deadlines; attention to details
- Ability to work independently; initiative; self-starter.
- Strong computer / presentation skills
Responsibilities :
Calls on all decision makers and influencers at all shipping / receiving locations to promote growth and profitability in desirable traffic lanes.
Maintains constant awareness of lane balance needs and directs efforts to continuously improve balance in major traffic lanes.
Coordinates regional sales needs through prospecting.
Informally poll external and internal customers on "How we are doing" and "How can we improve our processes for better results?"
