BUILDING AIDE
The Ephrata Area School District, 803 Oak Boulevard, Ephrata, PA, is recruiting for the position of part-time Building Aide starting immediately.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Building Aide. As a Building Aide, you will be responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of children. Your primary role will be to facilitate a positive and engaging play environment while maintaining a focus on safety.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Building Aide. As a Building Aide, you will be responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of children. Your primary role will be to facilitate a positive and engaging play environment while maintaining a focus on safety.

- Intermediate School
- Highland Elementary
- Monitor and supervise children during playground activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Encourage and promote positive social interactions among children.
- Enforce rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Assist children with basic needs, such as using restroom facilities and obtaining first aid if necessary.
- Communicate with administration regarding any concerns or incidents that may arise.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
WORKPLACE EXPECTATIONS
- Must demonstrate regular and punctual attendance. Must interact positively with administration, students, staff, parents, and community members.
- Must demonstrate professionalism and appropriate judgment in behavior & speech and dress in a neat, clean, and professional manner.
- Must follow all District policies, work procedures and reasonable requests by proper authority.
- Must maintain the integrity of confidential information within the Business Office.
