- Range 10, Starting Salary $12.87
- Monday through Friday work schedule; 184 days per year
- 5 hours per day
- Provide supervision to large groups of children in the cafeteria, on the playground, in the classroom during indoor recess, and during transitions between areas.
- Monitor student behavior as directed by policy and procedures.
- Monitor playground and school building for unauthorized persons and follow established protocol.
- Assist children at lunch and recess as needed with respect to health and safety.
- Wipe tables in the cafeteria and clean up spills and messes as needed.
- Encourage good manners and appropriate student behavior.
- Communicate with teachers and the principal concerning issues that arise.
- Provide support to individual students or small groups as requested.
- Provide classroom support and coverage for classroom teachers as assigned.
- Provide arrival and dismissal supervision of students as assigned by the Principal.
- Make copies of requested documents including instructional material for classroom use.
- Provide laminating, book binding, and poster making services to enhance classroom activities as available.
- Prepare materials for student activities and hang up student work as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or designee.
