Role Description
This is a full-time role for a High School Spanish Teacher at EPIC Academy. Located on-site in Chicago, IL, the High School Spanish Teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, curriculum development, and daily instruction of Spanish language & culture courses. The teacher will engage students in interactive and meaningful learning experiences, assess student performance, and provide feedback to help them reach their academic goals. Additional tasks include participating in faculty meetings, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating with parents and guardians.
Qualifications
- Spanish Teaching and Teaching skills
- Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development skills
- Education experience, preferably in a high school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field
- Teaching certification in the State of Illinois
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
