At EPIC Health and our family of companies, we’re not here to maintain the status quo—we’re here to transform patient care and healthcare delivery at every level. We need a Central Project Manager (CPMO) to lead strategic initiatives across multiple business entities, including clinical operations, innovation, product development, and continuous improvement.

This isn’t just about managing projects—it’s about driving real change. If you’re a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Agile and Lean principles and the ability to coordinate complex projects across diverse business lines, we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Project Leadership Across Multiple Entities

  • Lead and manage a centralized project management office (CPMO) that oversees projects for multiple entities within our healthcare network.
  • Develop and execute an integrated project strategy using tools like X-Matrix and Hoshin Kanri to align business goals across all companies.
  • Manage multiple complex portfolios, programs, and projects simultaneously—including IT, innovation, continuous improvement, and service/product development.
  • Act as the central point of contact to align priorities, resources, and deliverables across all business units and teams.

Agile and Lean Execution

  • Implement Agile and Lean project management frameworks to enhance flexibility, speed, and quality.
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives using Agile tools like burndown charts and iterative testing cycles.
  • Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste, increase efficiency, and optimize workflows.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups and cross-functional meetings to drive accountability and rapid problem-solving.

Portfolio and Program Management

  • Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across diverse business units and departments.
  • Establish and manage a centralized project tracking system to monitor progress, risks, and outcomes across all programs.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project and portfolio success.
  • Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with clinical, administrative, and technical teams across all business entities to define project goals and align deliverables with strategic objectives.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between leadership, department heads, and external partners to drive alignment and execution.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and adaptability across teams and business units.

Innovation and Product Development

  • Lead pilot programs and rapid prototyping to test and scale new solutions.
  • Ensure alignment between project execution and market demands, patient needs, and operational goals.
  • Drive the development of new service lines, care models, and business solutions.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Generate detailed reports on project status, progress, and roadblocks for senior leadership and stakeholders across all business entities.
  • Deliver strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights and project performance analysis.
  • Continuously refine project strategies based on performance outcomes and feedback.

What You Bring

Education and Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO) required.
  • Additional certifications in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Lean Six Sigma, or PMP strongly preferred.

Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience leading complex projects across multiple business units or service lines.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale portfolios, including innovation, IT, clinical operations, and product development.
  • Demonstrated success applying both Agile and Lean principles to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience in healthcare or similarly regulated industries preferred.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strategic Thinker: Able to align big-picture business goals with tactical project execution.
