What You’ll Do
Strategic Project Leadership Across Multiple Entities
- Lead and manage a centralized project management office (CPMO) that oversees projects for multiple entities within our healthcare network.
- Develop and execute an integrated project strategy using tools like X-Matrix and Hoshin Kanri to align business goals across all companies.
- Manage multiple complex portfolios, programs, and projects simultaneously—including IT, innovation, continuous improvement, and service/product development.
- Act as the central point of contact to align priorities, resources, and deliverables across all business units and teams.
Agile and Lean Execution
- Implement Agile and Lean project management frameworks to enhance flexibility, speed, and quality.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives using Agile tools like burndown charts and iterative testing cycles.
- Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste, increase efficiency, and optimize workflows.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups and cross-functional meetings to drive accountability and rapid problem-solving.
Portfolio and Program Management
- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across diverse business units and departments.
- Establish and manage a centralized project tracking system to monitor progress, risks, and outcomes across all programs.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project and portfolio success.
- Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with clinical, administrative, and technical teams across all business entities to define project goals and align deliverables with strategic objectives.
- Act as a strategic liaison between leadership, department heads, and external partners to drive alignment and execution.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and adaptability across teams and business units.
Innovation and Product Development
- Lead pilot programs and rapid prototyping to test and scale new solutions.
- Ensure alignment between project execution and market demands, patient needs, and operational goals.
- Drive the development of new service lines, care models, and business solutions.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Generate detailed reports on project status, progress, and roadblocks for senior leadership and stakeholders across all business entities.
- Deliver strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights and project performance analysis.
- Continuously refine project strategies based on performance outcomes and feedback.
What You Bring
Education and Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO) required.
- Additional certifications in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Lean Six Sigma, or PMP strongly preferred.
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience leading complex projects across multiple business units or service lines.
- Proven experience managing large-scale portfolios, including innovation, IT, clinical operations, and product development.
- Demonstrated success applying both Agile and Lean principles to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Experience in healthcare or similarly regulated industries preferred.
