What You’ll Do as an EPIC Psychologist
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of providing compassionate and effective mental health care. Here’s how you’ll contribute to our mission:
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Conduct in-depth assessments using diagnostic tools and interviews to evaluate emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
- Tailored Treatment Plans: Diagnose and develop individualized treatment strategies that address a range of mental health challenges.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with medical assistants, patient liaisons, practice managers, and other team members to ensure seamless and resourceful patient care.
- Crisis Support: Provide short-term, focused intervention for patients navigating crises like trauma, grief, or major life transitions.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Serve as a preceptor for residents and students, helping to shape the next generation of mental health professionals.
- Policy Development: Partner with the Medical Director to refine policies and create patient-first protocols that improve care delivery.
- Record Excellence: Ensure all health records, patient communications, and billing documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Family and Couples Therapy: Offer guidance and therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families to foster wellness in diverse contexts.
What You Bring to the Team
We’re looking for a professional who combines clinical expertise with a passion for collaboration and innovation:
Education and Licensure
- Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.)
- Maintenance of all continuing education requirements and active licensure.
Experience
- 1–2 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
