We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Maintenance to join our team. The Director of Maintenance will oversee the facility’s maintenance operations to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Director of Maintenance Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring effective operations and timely completion of work orders.
- Oversee building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and emergency systems, ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, inspections, and other maintenance services.
- Maintain an organized inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure facility meets all local, state, and federal safety standards.
- Collaborate with management to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Director of Maintenance Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility maintenance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues quickly.
- Must be detail-oriented and proactive in addressing issues before they arise.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or after-hours as needed.
- Valid driver’s license required.
