Responsibilities
As a Nurse Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Supervising unit activities and staff assignments
• Monitoring patient vital signs and administering medications
• Responding to emergency situations and leading teams effectively
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care
• Identifying and following disciplinary actions as stated in policy
• Maintaining accurate nursing reports, staffing sheets, and census rosters
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• Current and good standing RN license in New York State
• Previous experience working with geriatric or short-term rehabilitation patients
• Progressive nursing experience in a geriatric setting
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
