Title: Front desk specialist
Epic Heart and Vascular
Shift: M-F, 8a-5p
Status: Full-time, Hourly
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answering phones
- Provides front office support in an independent medical practice setting
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Knowledge of EMR software
- Works with others in a team environment
REPORT RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the Practice Administrator / Owner
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Epic experience preferred.
- Previous medical office receptionist experience preferred.
- Bilingual preferred
Employment standards include current requirements as determined by Federal, State, Epic Heart and Vascular policy.
OSHA TASK CATEGORY TWO: There is an occasional risk of exposure to mucous membranes or skin contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues, or a potential for spills or splashed during the performance of the job.
Physical requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Able to lift 10-20 pounds occasionally
