What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Technician position at Epic Lawn Care?
We are currently looking for individuals to join our "Epic Team". We are seeking someone who is talented, hard-working and committed. Epic provides full service grounds maintenance to both residential and commercial clients. As the irrigation technician, you will be responsible for mapping out irrigation areas, digging trenches, installing equipment, troubleshoot/diagnose irrigation systems and make the necessary repairs, start up/winterize the system at the beginning and end of each season, and conducting regular maintenance checks. You may also be required to install electrical timer systems.
The essential functions for this position are as follows:
- Complete work orders with details of each job.
- Help maintain equipment/irrigation van.
- Professionalism with interactions to prospects and clients.
- Maintain client relations through excellent communication skills.
- Work harmoniously with other team members.
- Meet and exceed production and improve everyday.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Previous irrigation/plumbing experience (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must enjoy working outdoors and be able to work in temperature ranges from teens to over 90 degrees and in varying weather conditions.
- Able to analyze situations and determine appropriate resolution.
- Self-motivation and a great work ethic to improve everyday.
- An athletic mind to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
