We’re looking for a Kitchen QA Supervisor to oversee quality assurance procedures in our Ready-to-Eat food manufacturing operations. This role is essential in ensuring food safety, compliance, and top-tier product quality. If you have an eye for detail and a drive for excellence, we want you on our team.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise the Kitchen QA team during processing, verifying GMPs, HACCP, Allergen Control, and SSOPs
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and customer requirements
- Conduct internal audits to maintain 3rd party audit readiness
- Be the point of contact for regulatory inspections (FDA, USDA, State & Local Health Agencies)
- Investigate and resolve customer store complaints
- Train and mentor associates on kitchen policies and procedures
What You Bring:
- 1-3 years of experience in Food QA
- HACCP Certification (Required)
- Preferred: Allergen & GMP Training, SQF Practitioner, PCQI, Food Defense Certification
- Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, SAP, WMS systems
What to Expect:
- Work in a refrigerated environment (32°F – 36°F)
- Regular collaboration with Kitchen & Cheese Production teams, National QA, and R&D
- Occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work as needed
