Location : Laurel, MD (Greater DC Area) – Onsite 3 Days / Week

Compensation : $80 hourly

Duration : 6 Month contract with opportunity to extend.

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics Functional Consultant (Central Accounting) to provide hands-on training and support for end users in the Accounting and Projects modules of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central . This role involves troubleshooting, process validation, and ensuring transactional accuracy while driving best practices in Business Central. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Business Central and Navision products, with strong consulting and client engagement experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide daily training and support to system end users in client accounting teams.
• Validate and ensure accurate transactional data entry in the Business Central production system.
• Support weekly and monthly transactional reconciliation processes.
• Document detailed work procedures for end-user processes.
• Promote and support the adoption of Business Central best practices for accounting and finance processes.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to design process enhancements and resolve system issues.
• Diagnose process changes and implement them to optimize system performance.
• Provide recommendations for staffing and upskilling based on user needs.
• Work as a consultant with clients, ensuring optimal system utilization.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to improve user proficiency in Business Central functionalities.
• Assist in system configuration, customization, and testing to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and training materials.
• Support the implementation of new features and updates within the Business Central ecosystem.
• Help the team develop enthusiasm for new software functionality and abilities.
• Adapt to evolving responsibilities as business needs change.
