Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Network Engineer Advisor to join our team at GDIT. As a Sr. Network Engineer Advisor, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations, including design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems. You will also direct compilation of records and reports concerning network operations and maintenance, troubleshoot network performance issues, analyze network traffic, and provide quality assurance review and evaluation of new and existing software products.
Responsibilities
This Sr. Network Engineer Advisor will be responsible for:
1. Designing, building, and implementing network systems
2. Directing compilation of records and reports concerning network operations and maintenance
3. Troubleshooting network performance issues and analyzing network traffic
4. Providing quality assurance review and evaluation of new and existing software products
5. Coaching and providing guidance to less-experienced professionals
6. Serving as a team or task lead
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A Master's Degree (Substitutions based on additional years of experience)
• 15 years of related experience
• Expertise in Network Engineering, Network Design, Network Architecture, Network Infrastructure, and Network Systems
• DOE Q or TS level clearance (or equivalency) with the ability to obtain a Q level clearance
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain such clearance as a condition of employment
