Radon Mitigation Technician

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Radon Mitigation Technician to join our team and make a meaningful impact in protecting lives.

Job Summary:
As a Radon Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radon mitigation systems. You will work closely with clients, ensuring systems are properly installed and comply with safety standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site evaluations to determine appropriate radon mitigation strategies.
• Install radon mitigation systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct post-installation testing to verify system effectiveness.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in excellent working condition.
• Educate clients on radon risks, system operation, and maintenance.
• Follow safety guidelines and adhere to industry standards and local regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address client concerns professionally.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Certification in radon mitigation (e.g., NRPP or AARST) is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Previous experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including basements, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Flexibility to work occasional extended hours or weekends as needed.
