Job Summary
The Registered Nurse Unit Manager, RN will be responsible for supervising and directing staff in clinical and personnel issues on the Sub-Acute (Short Term Unit). This includes providing professional guidance, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control guidelines, and coordinating resident care in accordance with State DOH regulations.
- Provide support to residents and families in dealing with clinical issues and challenges.
- Assist in establishing daily operations of resident care on unit, including showers/baths, toileting, meal, medication administration, and activities.
- Communicate pertinent information to other members of the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure resident/family needs are met.
- Perform daily rounds of all residents on the unit and assess their needs as required by the facility.
