Corporate Accountant

EPIC4 Specialty Partners is a Specialty Partnership Organization (SPO) that assists specialty dental practices with administrative functions such as accounting, human resources, payroll administration, revenue cycle management, procurement and credentialing. We take on these support services so that our doctors can better serve their patients and find an improved work/life balance.

We are currently adding to our accounting team and looking for a Corporate Accountant to join EPIC4 as we continue to expand our reach in the industry. This position will assist with all elements of the accounting function, including General Ledger accounting and month-end reporting.

JOB DUTIES:

• Assists the controller in the AP & AR process centralized in home office, for a multi-state, and multi-company environment.
• Recording and reconciliation of all EFT/bank draft AP and utility payments for all office locations.
• Approval of new vendors, monitoring of vendor database for W-9 information and assist in the preparation of year end Form 1099s.
• Oversight and monitoring of the company’s credit card transaction platform. Review and approval of transactions for account coding, completeness of information and reconciliation to enterprise/GL system.
• Fixed assets accounting and calculation of monthly depreciation expense.
• Lease accounting and calculation of monthly lease expense.
• Recording of AR/revenue activity daily.
• Reconciliation of daily, monthly AR activity to bank deposits and multi location PMS programs.
• Assists controller on all functions delegated in the process of creating financial statements and related financial reports.
• Assist with the annual budget and audit process as requested by controller.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Two (2) years experience in accounting/finance.
• Strong background in general ledger accounting - A/P, A/R, management oversite.
• Billing software experience

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent employment experience.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• MS Office - Excel, Word, etc.
• Experience with general ledger accounting software
• Excellence in customer service skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to successfully interact with internal and external customers
• Effective organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
• Strong Analytics / Detail oriented
• Ability to investigate, analyze, and diagnose operational/technical problems and identify solutions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
