Duties

- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records of youth progress and needs.
- Engage youth in recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities to promote personal growth.
- Facilitate conflict management strategies to resolve disputes among youth effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and healthcare professionals, to develop individualized care plans.
- Support meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met for all youth.
- Monitor vital signs as necessary and report any changes in health status to appropriate staff.
- Provide specialized care for youth with memory care needs or those experiencing dementia-related challenges.
Qualifications
- Experience in nursing home settings or memory care facilities is preferred.
- Background in social work or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and case management practices.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles, particularly for youth populations.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with youth and their families.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

- Rotating weekends
Experience:
- working with teens: 1 year (Preferred)
