What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Application Specialist | BisTrack position at Epicor Inc?

As an Accounting Application Specialist, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and debug finance-related software issues for our BisTrack ERP and Microsoft Dynamics GP software. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless support and resolution of software issues. We are seeking applicants with prior bookkeeping / accounting experience, familiarity with US or Canadian financial software products, and strong problem-solving skills.
What you will be doing :
- Investigate accounting application support cases from BisTrack customers, fully document and understand issues, and gather necessary information to resolve or escalate.
- Carry out root cause analysis of errors in customers' business environments.
- Liaise between support, development, and quality assurance teams as part of the larger customer support effort.
- Understand customers' business process flow and explain how it relates to their use of the BisTrack application.
- Manage and follow up on assigned support cases to create a remarkable experience for customers.
- Clearly and professionally communicate case updates to customers by phone and email in a timely manner.
- Travel to Epicor's US-based user conferences.
