Description:
Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase orders for parts and components based on a master production schedule.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Coordinate with Operations Manager to meet production objectives.
· Maintain data integrity in production modules with MAS/SAGE.
· Schedule and release work orders to production to ensure orders are started on time and processed efficiently through operations to meet due dates.
· Develop and maintain working relationships with suppliers. Responsible for sourcing materials and components to ensure timelines are met
· Work with and coach production personnel in facilitating work order and inventory processes
· Assist in development and maintenance of department SOP’s
· Monitor and create systems and procedures to maintain accurate inventory levels for all materials
· Generate and analyze production reports as requested
· Participate in production and pre-production meetings.
· Partner with Sales, Product Development, and ownership as needed.
· Analyze, recommend, and implement improvements to the current systems.
· Back-up Inventory Controller
· Special projects as requested.
Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret documents. Attention to detail and good communications skills required. Good computer skills.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or five years of production, plant, or general management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
