Responsibilities
As required by the Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is:
$175,800—$215,600 USD

Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and realize the strategic roadmap for Epirus’ internal weaponeering and modeling and simulation work as well as the external communication, collaboration, and commercialization of those efforts.
- Generate Product Requirements and drive pragmatic decisions for future systems considering system performance, lethality, concepts of operations, cost, and anticipated customer needs.
- Strong leader who can not only grow and mentor existing team but also experienced in building the team.
- Contribute to proposal coordination across departments to ensure successful customer negotiations, compliant proposal structure, incorporation of win themes, competitive intelligence, and pricing of the proposals to win.
- Responsible for providing technical product marketing direction and training related to products.
- Ability to steer through ambiguity with minimal guidance.
- Contribute to public speaking, public affairs, and government relations as directed by the CEO and CTO.
- BS Degree in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
- Ability to work in a US DoD secret clearance environment.
- 10 years of combined experience and leadership within product engineering, product management, and systems engineering.
- Experience with the test and evaluation of complex systems including experimental design and data analysis.
- Experience with systems modeling and simulation or wargaming.
- MS Degree in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
- Experience with RF systems (e.g. radar, comms, EW, etc.) and EOIR systems.
- Focused on achieving business objectives, creative problem solving, and employing a growth mindset while defining and supporting a responsible, strategic, compliant, and ethical approach to business challenges.
- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
