Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and Administration, the Human Resources & Administration Coordinator serves an important role in safeguarding the company from liability in matters of employment law and representing the company when working with personnel and vendor relationships related to human resources responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to on-boarding, personnel file maintenance and other program and file maintenance related to these primary responsibilities
The ideal candidate is:
- A self-starter and strong communicator with an ability to build positive relationships with employees (both written and verbal)
- An individual with basic knowledge of HR laws and practices
- Able to efficiently and effectively manage tasks related to recruiting, onboarding, and record keeping
Responsibilities:
- Trademark & domain registrations & renewals
- Inform employees about additional benefits they’re eligible for (e.g. extra vacations days)
- Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions
- Updates and files all operational documents, including permits, licenses, and other required filings
- Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
- Ensure recruitment process runs smoothly, from maintaining proper company profile on job boards to attending local job fairs as directed
- Responsible for the maintenance, in good order, of all files assigned to these functions as well as the safekeeping of all company records
- Perform all other duties as assigned or requested by management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion, and judgement
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel required
- Proven ability to exceed customer expectations
- Strong analytical, verbal/written communication and problem-solving skills
- Well organized with strong attention-to-detail
- Positive and self-motivated
- Professional and tactful interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of personalities
- Ready to adopt company culture along with company protocols
Education and Experience:
- An Associate’s degree in human resources or business administration, preferred
- Or, a minimum of two (2) years of related experience
Salary Information:
- Starting salary range: $40,000 - $44,000 DOE ($19.25 to $21.15/hr)
