Description
As the head of the Quality Control and Assurance team, the Director of Quality and Compliance is responsible for the review/approval and maintenance of master product formulae, master labeling copies and maintenance of standard operating procedures. The Director of Quality and Compliance also reviews and trends: customer complaints, raw materials, quality processes and finished product testing for release to Manufacturing.

Qualifications
Ideal Qualifications for this Position:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry is preferred
- 5 years of management experience is preferred
- 5 years of experience in food, drug and/or cosmetic manufacturing GMPs and Regulatory
- Ability to read and comprehend FDA CFRs as well as other domestic and international Regulatory documentation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organization, filing and document writing skills
- FDA audit experience is a plus
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
